Four bedrooms
Room for everyone to spread out — four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath and three with direct ocean views, while the open-plan kitchen and living areas make one big gathering space.
Guest cottage
A house of its own
Steps from the main house, the cottage has its own kitchen, living room and bedroom — good for grandparents, teens, or a couple who want their own door. It is never rented separately. The whole property is yours.

A spiral stair in the cottage climbs to a loft with an extra bed — the reason the villa comfortably sleeps twelve.

Renovated and made for the climate
Designed for indoor/outdoor living.
Inside, the villa is bright and comfortable, with vaulted, beamed ceilings and a big, well-equipped chef's kitchen that guests single out in review after review. Every room is air-conditioned, but when you'd rather bring the outside in, large glass doors open onto the covered veranda so you can feel the trade winds and hear the surf.
“Completely renovated inside and out,” a February guest wrote, “with the best-stocked kitchen we've ever had in a rented house.”

The whole East Coast, nonstop to your door.
St. Croix is a U.S. territory, so a flight from the U.S. is a domestic hop — no passport required. Five U.S. gateways fly nonstop into Henry E. Rohlsen (STX), plus quick Cape Air, JetBlue and Fly The Whale hops from the neighbouring islands — and Seaborne's seaplane lands right in Christiansted Harbor. Hover a carrier to trace its route.

San Juan is the island's main connecting hub — flights from farther south (and from Panama City) meet you there, then it's a short hop across. Off-season (roughly May to November), when the seasonal nonstops pause, the usual route is a mainland flight into St. Thomas (STT) and the 25-minute hop across on Cape Air or Fly The Whale.

- Newark begins Saturdays Oct 31, 2026 — the first New York-area nonstop in over 30 years.
- Charlotte, Chicago & Atlanta are winter service (Chicago Saturdays from Dec 19, paused Jan 3 to Feb 12; Charlotte Saturdays from Nov 7, daily from Dec 17; Atlanta seasonal Saturdays, daily from Dec 19).
- Fort Lauderdale no longer has a nonstop — Spirit ceased operations in May 2026. South Florida flies from Miami.
- Nevis (Cape Air) flies Fridays & Sundays.
- Off-season? Fly into St. Thomas (STT), which keeps mainland nonstops all year, then hop to St. Croix on Cape Air or Fly The Whale (~25 min).
Routes re-verified August 2026 (gotostcroix.com and the carriers). Spirit Airlines ceased operations in May 2026 and its Fort Lauderdale nonstop ended with it. Schedules shift by season — confirm with the airline when you book. Airline names and marks identify the carriers that serve each route.

300-acre nature preserve
Jack & Isaac Bay
Two of the island's most pristine beaches sit inside a 300-acre preserve protected by The Nature Conservancy since 1999. There's no road in — you reach them on foot, which is exactly why the sand stays empty. Guests reach the trailhead in about a five-minute drive.
Easternmost point in the U.S.
Point Udall
The easternmost point in the United States, marked by the Millennium Monument on a headland of sunny coastal hills and cliffs. It's the classic East End sunrise spot, minutes from the villa.

Do you need a passport to stay at The Cerulean?
No. The villa is on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which is U.S. territory, so for a U.S. citizen the flight down is a domestic flight. You board with a REAL ID-compliant license — or a passport if you have one — and there is no immigration or customs line when you land. Non-U.S. citizens carry the documents any U.S. entry requires.
Where exactly is the villa?
On the quiet East End of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, about fifteen minutes from Christiansted. It is a private oceanfront estate with its own beach and direct access to reef-protected water.
How many people does it sleep?
Twelve, across five bedrooms and five bathrooms — four bedrooms in the main house plus a separate guest cottage with a loft.
Is there a beach and a pool?
Yes. The villa has its own private beach with direct access to shallow, reef-protected water and snorkeling a few feet out, and a pool sits on a deck above the sea.
Is the guest cottage ever rented separately?
No. The cottage is part of every booking — the main house, the cottage and the loft are yours together, and nobody else is ever on the property.
Is the whole house air-conditioned?
Yes — every room, not just the bedrooms. The living areas, the kitchen and the cottage are all air-conditioned, with ceiling fans throughout as well.
